19.1.2A.1 General

Location cancellation for VCSG is used to delete a subscriber record from the serving node (VLR or SGSN). The procedure is invoked:

– because there is a removal of the CSG subscription data in the CSS and of the MS registration

– because the CSS has decided to cancel the registration of the MS which does not have CSG subscription data in the CSS.

NOTE: How the CSS determines when to cancel the registration of the MS is implementation dependent.
