The QER Indications IE indicates flags applicable to a QER. It shall be coded as depicted in Figure 8.2.216-1.

Figure 8.2.216-1: QER Indications
The following bits within Octet 5 shall indicate:
– Bit 1 – IQFISN (Insert DL MBS QFI SN): If this bit is set to "1", then the MB-UPF shall insert the DL MBS QFI Sequence Number in the PDU Session Container of MBS data packets (see 3GPP TS 38.415 [34]).
– Bit 2 to 8 – Spare, for future use, shall be set to "0" by the sender and discarded by the receiver.
