Symbol level interleaving is applied between symbols modulated from the second and the third transport block when the Node B schedules three transport blocks. Symbol level interleaving is applied between symbols modulated from the primary and the fourth transport blocks, similarly between symbols modulated from the second and the third transport block when the Node B schedules four transport blocks. Table 11 shows the operation of symbol level interleaving, where x(p) (i) and y(p) (i), p = 0,1,2 and 3 are the symbol interleaver input and output symbols respectivelyrepectively.
