For the purposes of the present document, the following symbols apply:
A Interface between a BSS and a 2G MSC
Gb Interface between a BSS and a 2G SGSN
Iu-cs Interface between a BSS and a 3G MSC
Iu-ps Interface between a BSS and a 3G SGSN
Iur-g Interface between two BSSs
NOTE: whether the Iur-g interface is also used between a BSS and an RNC is FFS.
