SuM is about managing subscriptions tied to one actor taking the Service Provider Role. Systems affected are those within the Service Provider domain (systems that a Service Provider controls and manages) and those systems outside that take part in the service delivery to the user of the service provided. The latter means: Actors having those systems have B2B agreements with a Service Provider for the purpose of delivering services (examples are: 3^rd party Service Providers, Content Providers and Network Operators).
