In the case of burst type 2 (see subclause 5B.3.2) the midamble has a length of Lm=512, which corresponds to:

K’=8; W=57; P=456.

Depending on the possible delay spread cells are configured to use K_Cell midambles which are generated from the Basic Midamble Codes of length P defined in Annex A.1.

– for k=1,2,…,K’, only, or

– for odd k=1,3,5,…, K’, only.
